Many of our young Pointer student-athletes had a very fine showing at the Youth Folkstyle State Wrestling Championships in Madison March 25! A special congrats to place winners:

Congrats to the 5th Grade Boys Basketball team which took 1st place in Division 4/5 at the Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament in Kimberly March 26! The boys defeated Brillion, Crivitz, Melrose-Mindoro, Reedsville, and finally Winnebago Lutheran in the championship game. Great job, all!

4K read the story "Duck! Rabbit!" by Amy Krause Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld. You can see most students thought the main character was a rabbit!

Our Middle School's Kindness Club is promoting and creating a culture of kindness in our school. Each week we will be giving a 'shoutout' to students caught being kind. Congrats to Autumn Robb! Autumn stayed until the very end of the District Solo & Ensemble competition to support and watch an older friend who was not sure their family would arrive in time to watch her perform. Thank you for your kindness towards others here in our school.

A reminder, the annual Mineral Point School Board election will take place tomorrow Tuesday, April 4. Polls will be open from 7 am - 8 pm.

There are three candidates for two seats. The top two vote recipients will each receive a three year term on the Board. Voters will be instructed to vote for not more than two candidates. The order in which the names will appear on the ballot (according to the random drawing of lots) is:

- Alan Schrank

- Joni L. Heisner (incumbent)
