Holiday Help-A-Friend
Now that we are into November the holidays are fast approaching! Last year our school community came together to "Help-A-Friend" and it was a truly special experience for everyone involved. The holidays can be a stressful time for families as they try to provide gifts. Many people have reached out to see if they can help others during this season. Please fill out THIS form if you need help or can provide help. We may not be able to help everyone, but we will try. We will follow up with you if you fill out this form to coordinate the next steps. This is not a required form, only if you are interested. Please reach out to candace.platt@weschools.org with any questions. Thank you!
Outdoor Recess
In Ohio, we know that the weather can change at a moment's notice! Please be sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the changing temperature. We go outside for recess any time that the wind chill is 20 degrees or above. Winter coats, hats, gloves, and boots are recommended. Please reach out to jacque.sparent@weschools.org if you need any help getting these items for your child.

Positive Student Shout-Outs
Students are nominated every Friday by our staff members for showing PRIDE and kindness. Keep up the great work!
Party with the Principals
In October we were focusing on the "R" in our PRIDE Promise which is "Respectful". Students who exemplified this characteristic were invited to a Party with the Principals. We had snacks, drinks, music, and games to recognize these students. In November we are looking for students who have "Integrity" to be invited to our next party. Congratulations to the following students:
- Kindergarten: Payton Mocny, Andy Caswell, Jasper Lavelle, Ryleigh White
- 1st Grade: Emmett Van Kirk, Cameron Puskas, Jillian Grinstead, Alonzo Davis, Briella Glaser
- 2nd Grade: Karina Mance, A'Dreya Townsend, Seth Bonnell, Hayden Mason
- 3rd Grade: Damien Atkins, Nooran Asad, Vincent Davis
- 4th Grade: Ezio Sarmiento, Mila Rufo, Cameron Decker, Alex Duran-Rayas
- 5th Grade: Jaccie Sebring, Braden Smith, GiGi Kumel
If you believe your child is experiencing challenges in terms of their mental well-being, it is important to reach out to your principal. To meet your child’s needs, it’s essential to collaborate with the principal and school personnel to explore resources and services available at school. In addition to Crossroads Counselors, the District also has family liaisons and guidance counselors who can provide needed interventions and support.
