Today we want to take some time to discuss Human Trafficking, so that you become more A.W.A.R.E about Human Trafficking and the steps you can take for prevention.

The A.W.A.R.E. human trafficking prevention curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, prevent, and respond to human trafficking.

The curriculum aims to:

• increase awareness of human trafficking among students
• identify and recognize the signs of human trafficking
• empower students to take action against human trafficking

While this information is being shared, we ask each one of you to display respect. While this topic may be uncomfortable to learn about, by discussing it in a healthy, supportive and respectful way, you have the opportunity to learn and develop skills that can help you make appropriate choices and enhance your safety.
