Spring Break is on the horizon. Let's hope the weather cooperates, and we can enjoy some outdoor time during our vacation.
As we head into Spring Break, some points of pride need mentioning. Our Winter Guard team won first place in their class at the Ann Richard's TCGB contest this weekend. It's the second weekend in a row where the Winter Guard team has placed first in competitions. A big congratulations to the Jarrell Fishing Team, for scoring in the top ten, beating ninety-seven teams during a recent competition. Also this past week, three of our student-athletes signed letters of intent to play sports at the college level. We had a wonderful signing ceremony for their family, friends, and teammates. The students beat out 20,000 other athletes to receive these scholarships. That's incredible and we are so proud of our students.
Finally, it's National Social Worker Week. Our social workers do a terrific job helping our students meet their academic goals. They are an essential part of the Jarrell ISD family and are deserving of a lot of praise.
Beautiful things are happening in Jarrell ISD. We are a family, and it's only going to get better.
