FREE books were delivered to over 50 families and 130 children for our "Read While You Lunch" event. This effort was coordinated by Carol McCarville, with assistance from Nicole Norasethaporn, Lindsay Simpson, Paula Mighells and too many GV teachers to count! Happy Reading, GV Community!

Our Fine Arts Festival was slated for April 2. In lieu of an in-person festival we decided to bring a selection of the artwork to you. We hope you enjoy this virtual sneak peak at artwork from our elementary students under the direction of art teacher Ms. Deal.

Lindsay Simpson is the PreK-12 Technology Integration Specialist at Genesee Valley. She has worked at GV since 2014 when she started as a long-term substitute and was then hired as a 4th grade teacher. In her current role Lindsay coordinates the platforms teachers use in their online teaching, provides training sessions, troubleshoots technology issues and creates materials for teachers to use in their online classrooms.

Lindsay has also served as STEAM Department Chair, co-advisor for robotics, co-advisor for Youth & Government and drama club advisor.

Lindsay is married to her high school sweetheart, Scott. They have an adopted cat, Giblet, and are excited to welcome their first child, a baby girl, in just a few short weeks!
