Students will be able to define diversity and acceptance and give examples of ways to

embrace differences.

1. Student will share about what they learned about differences and similarities they have with

their family members.

2. Student will share about what they learned from the videos on diversity and acceptance.

Lesson Focus: Mission: Learning and Future Success

Students will learn about all the ways to learn and how it supports future

success.

Extending the Learning at Home: Students will explain the activity to their parent/guardian.

Students will ask their parents/guardians to tell them one way that they have observed

how their child learns and one way it will help them be successful in the future.
