Return to Remote Learning...

As ACSC continues to monitor the current status of COVID-19 in Madison County, the decision has been made to return to Remote Learning for the next two weeks- November 3rd through November 13th. For further information on the statistics in Madison County and surrounding areas, please visit https://www.coronavirus.in.gov/2393.htm

Students in Preschool- Grade 12 should be attending school remotely each day by logging into CANVAS and completing assignments from their teachers. It is imperative that students stay connected DAILY to their classroom teachers in order to maintain the instruction they have already received and stay on track!

Parent/Teacher Conferences

THANK YOU SO MUCH for making the time to ZOOM or talk with your child's teacher for Parent/Teacher conferences! We appreciate that you have made the time to discuss your child's progress at this point in the year. The unique challenges of teaching and learning remotely during this time have made it even more important to keep the lines of communication open between school and home. Please continue to work with your students as they take on the academic challenges of a new grade level. We know that students are setup for the best success when teachers, parents, and students work together!

Virtual Class Setting for 2nd Semester 2020-21~ URGENT


All parents must apply to have student(s) in the virtual classroom setting for 2nd semester 2020-21. No students will automatically continue in the virtual setting. This may be done by submitting the PARENT CHOICE on the Google Form below. If you have more than one

student, you MUST submit ONE request for EACH individual student. Only parents listed as

having custody will be allowed to apply for virtual school. Click on the link below to complete the form.

Scholastic Book Fair Going on NOW!

Please join us online for our first Scholastic Book Fair of the 2020-2021 school year! Even though we cannot open the Book Fair for a face-to-face visit, we want to encourage you to join us ONLINE at VGE Scholastic Book Fair! Encourage the love of reading, support reading development, and keep your student on track! Books make a great Christmas gift too!

School Pictures 2020-2021

School Pictures are scheduled for Thursday, December 3rd. There will be more information coming home as we approach the date. Times will be setup for virtual students to come to Valley Grove to get pictures taken on the same date. Please stay tuned for more information!

"At Home" Family Literacy Night~

We are planning our 1st "At Home" Family Literacy Night for December 3rd! Join us ONLINE for a fun evening of holiday stories and fun! Families will need to RSVP to receive a packet of literacy activities and link to the event! Snacks and books will be sent home with students to enjoy as well. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12th is FOOD PANTRY PICKUP

Join us Thursday, November 12th from 5-6:30 pm for Second Harvest Food Pantry at VGE. Simply pull up in the bus lane, pop your trunk, and we will load you up! We look forward to seeing all of you!
