Day of Service
On Monday, January 15th, students will celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr Day by engaging in special service projects to give back to our community and school. All Dawg Day of Service projects, have been moved indoors and will remain on campus. We will be posting picture of each project on our Facebook page and website. Teachers will be communicating with families if the project requires permission to leave campus.
Donkey Day
We will celebrate Donkey Day on February 2nd with a brief assembly. At the end of the assembly, students will have the opportunity to pet the donkey. If you do not want your child to touch the donkey, please communicate with their teacher by February 1st.

Attendance Matters
Bertram's ADA for this past week was 96.26%.
ADA stands for Average Daily Attendance and is defined as the total days of student attendance divided by the total days of instruction. "98 IS Great!", so 98% is our goal! We recognize that illnesses and events take place that necesitate absences, however, we do encourage every student to be in school every day he/she is able. Let's work toward 98%!
