Academic

- Does the student demonstrate respect to the student body, staff, and faculty?

- Does the student follow school rules?
- Does the student arrive to school and to class on time?

Payton Gibson, House 6-1
House 6-1 is proud to announce Payton Gibson as the March Student of the Month. Payton is always very polite and works hard and responsibly during his classes. Payton tries really hard, gets along with others, and always has a smile on his face. Payton put all of his tickets in the Hill's Bill raffle hoping to win a volleyball for his sister. What a thoughtful thing to do! He is quick to share his awesome sense of humor with others and his love of the Green Bay Packers! Keep up the great work!
Kaliyah Johnson, House 6-1
House 6-1 has found another great student to represent us for Student of the Month. Kaliyah Johnson strives to achieve her personal best in all of her classes. She explains her thinking in math in a clear and concise way that is easy for others to understand and tackles challenge problems with gusto. Kaliyah works will in small peer groups and encourages others to complete tasks. She is honest and polite. You will recognize Kaliyah because she's the one with a smile on her face all of the time. We are proud to have Kaliyah in House 6-1.
Tyler Field, House 6-2
Tyler is a very thoughtful individual who offers to help students as well as teachers. He is a wonderful addition to the 6-2 community because of his bright smile, friendly attitude and outgoing personality. Tyler is a calendar helper as well as volunteer in all teachers' classrooms. Tyler is succeeding in his academics as well as social interactions with his peers.
Jodie Tunque, House 6-2
6-2 is pleased to announce Jodie as our student of the month! Jodie is always a respectful young lady who gives her best effort in class and is a diligent worker. She advocates for herself in all of her classes. In addition, Jodie always offers a warm smile. Keep up the great work, Jodie!
Hanidin Kamram, House 7-1
Hanidin Kamram has been chosen as House 7-1’s student of the month. Hanidin has been doing a nice job in her classes. She works hard and tries her best on all of her assignments. Hanidin always has a very enthusiastic smile on her face and she has the ability to make people happy just by being around her. Hanidin’s teachers say that she is a wonderful addition to all of her classes. Keep up the fantastic work and attitude and keep smiling. We are proud to have Hanidin as House 7-1’s Student of the Month.
Dustin Riesselman, H7-1
Dustin Riesselman has been chosen as House 7-1’s student of the month. Dustin has really been working hard in all of his classes. In math, he always does at least 2 days of Reflex without being told. Congrats on being 71% on Reflex. Dustin is also working hard in Language Arts and Literature. He is taking the initiative to complete his homework at home. He advocates for himself and asks for help when he needs it. Mrs. Willey is very sad to see him leave her LA class. Outside of class, Dustin has been an integral part of the basketball team. He is an awesome team player. We are proud to have Dustin as House 7-1’s Student of the Month.
Colton Davis, House 7-2
Colton is a great candidate for student of the month because he demonstrates Jefferson Middle School rules often. Colton is respectful to himself, his classmates, staff and his teachers. Colton is responsible by coming to class prepared. Colton brings his materials to class and comes to class on time. Being an active role model in class by participating and turning in his homework on time is a major part of Colton’s day. He represents Jefferson in a way that makes people proud to be part of this school. Colton cares for others around him and is a great nominee for student of the month.
Faith Jasper, House 7-2
Faith is a great candidate for student of the month for many reasons. She is always prepared for class by being on time and coming to class with all of her materials. Faith goes above and beyond to help out around the classroom whenever asked. Faith works hard in class and is willing to help others if they need it. By way of example Faith show respect for herself, friends, teachers and staff. I am so proud of Faith for displaying such great Jefferson Middle School characteristics like being respectful, responsible and safe. Keep up the good work Faith.
Carly Dalberg, House 8-1
Carly Dalberg is House 8-1’s Student of the Month. Carly was selected because she demonstrates every day the traits that help to become a valuable member of society. She is an excellent student who participates in many extracurricular activities. Carly is backstage manager for the school musical. She wrote the questions and helped to interview the students who were selected to be part of the crew. She also participated in Mathcounts and Mock Trial. Carly gets along well with all types of people, both adults and peers. We are happy to have Carly represent House 8-1.
Zachary Smith, House 8-1
Zachary Smith is House 8-1’s choice for Student of the Month. Zach enjoys spending time with friends both in and out of school. He understands the importance of school and takes his studies seriously. Zach is one of the leads in Jefferson's production of The Sound of Music and also participated in mock trial. Zach is a great example of someone who knows how to work effectively with peers. He is respected by both teachers and students. We are happy that Zach is a part of House 8-1.
Taya Hess, H8-2
Taya Hess is house 8-2's first nominee for February Student of the Month. Taya has shown maturity beyond her years. Not only is she dedicated to her studies, she is involved in many activities, including Special Olympics. Mrs. Lucas wrote, “Taya does a great job working with the Special Olympic athletes as a peer helper. The athletes really enjoy having her help them during activities and competitions. She has a great attitude and always has a smile on her face!”
Kassidy Gerken, House 8-2
Kassidy Gerken is house 8-2's second nominee for Student of the month. Kassidy's quiet sense of humor and generous and friendly nature and maturity are appreciated by teachers and friends. Kassidy always keeps her eyes on the prize….doing well in school. Kassidy is concerned about not only about getting good grades, but doing her best and understanding the material she learns. In class, Kassidy is involved and confident…and tenacious when playing Capture the Flag and Dodgeball!
