LAST WEEK'S LONGHORN LOOP

The Longhorn Soccer Club will travel to Summerour Middle School Saturday Morning, come out and cheer on our Longhorns!

During the Month of February Lanier Middle School will highlight important contributions and accomplishments African Americans have made to our society on our Morning Announcement Show good Morning Lanier which airs on Tuesday and Thursday. These facts will also be shared on our Social Media platforms.

The Lady Longhorns concluded their season on Monday by coming up just short 56-51 in a hard fought contest against Creekland MS in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.

Our Lady Longhorns finished the year with a 13-3 record which ranks among the best ever in school history.

Congratulations to the players and coaches on an exciting year!

Screenings will take place for 6th and 8th graders on March 8th. Students were given forms to bring home on Monday, January 24th. You may also access the form here as well.

Grayson Technical Education Program will host its final open house for the year on Tuesday, February 15h from 5 - 7 PM. See what Grayson Tech is all about.

Teachers will be sending home an electronic progress report via email on February 16th.

This conference will be in Spanish all Spanish speakers and bilingual speakers (English/Spanish) are welcome to attend. We will have LOTS of prize drawings and relevant sessions such as ESOL presented by our GCPS ESOL Director, GCPS Parent Portal led by our Director of Student Management, and LOTS of community resource tables.

Meadowcreek High School

While the Dual Enrollment program begins with those students entering the 10th grade, it is important to be familiar with the program as students begin planning their coursework entering High School. Mark your calendars for the annual Hook'em and Hold'em Casio Night sponsored by the Lanier Education Foundation. The festivities will begin at 6 PM on Saturday, February 26th. This year's theme is Back to the 80's. Follow this link for more information and tickets.
