Happy July Salado Middle School
Our school building is steadily becoming more complete. Earl and his team are installing the flat panel TV's in all of the classrooms, WiFi routers, cameras, and vape detectors. We are scheduled to have furniture delivered and installed starting on July 18. Once the furniture is installed and the building is cleaned and inspected for minor damage, then our construction company, Lee Lewis will turn over the academic wing, fine arts, cafeteria, library, and offices to us. We are scheduled to take ownership of those parts of the building on August 3rd. The athletics wing, ag classroom, and instructional technology room will take a little bit longer but should be ready for the start of school. Once we receive our certificate of occupancy on August 3rd, then we will be allowed to start moving into the building. This is truly an exciting time to be a Salado Middle School Eagle!
