PINK OUT!!
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness, every October the Lady Roo Volleyball Program coordinates Weatherford High School’s PINK OUT initiative as their way of giving back to the community. We have been very fortunate in the past with the support provided by not only the volleyball players & parents, but students & parents of all WISD schools, the WISD staff and the Weatherford community.
Please help us “PINK OUT” Weatherford on October 20th by joining us for the PINK OUT Pep Rally at 9:00am in the Main Gym, the PINK OUT Lady Roo Volleyball Game at 5:30 in the Main Gym and the PINK OUT Football Game at 7:30 at Roo Stadium. On behalf of all the Lady Roos and my staff, we thank you in advance for your support of this very worthy cause!

A Taste for Education
The Education Foundation is looking for men who can cook to participate in our new community event/fundraiser on Saturday, October 21.
A Taste for Education is a casual, fun, and community event where local businessmen, school staff, city officials, and community members come together to show off their culinary expertise to raise funds for the Weatherford ISD Education Foundation. Community chefs decorate their booths and prepare 2 oz. samples of their favorite recipe in one of three categories – appetizer, entrée, or dessert and serve them to guests. Our guests will be invited to taste all the samples they can eat and then vote for their favorite appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Winning chefs are announced at the end of the event.
Tickets to this fun event are $40 and may be purchased at https://wisdef.eventbrite.com .
