Shout-Outs

  • Shout-out to our freshmen of the week from this week! Maya Wright comes to us from Morris Middle. Here at Lee she is a part of the theater magnet, the music creations club, and the art club. In her spare time she likes to do hair and make jewelry. When she graduates from high school she wants to pursue a career in cosmetology or jewelry making. Her favorite teacher at Lee is Ms. Bacik because she is always happy and is good at teaching. Jaiden Heyward also comes to us from Morris Middle. Here at Lee she is involved in the tech theater magnet. In her free time she likes to hang out with friends and her brother and sisters. When she graduates high school she would like to pursue a career in real estate. Her favorite teacher here at Lee is Ms. Renaud. She likes Ms. Renaud because she is supportive of all of her students and her classroom is a safe place. Congratulations to both of them for representing our FamiLEE values so well!
  • Shout-out to all the students for awesome participation in this week's Homecoming activities!

FamiLEE Teacher Spotlight

Congratulations to our faculty spotlights this week. We are celebrating Mrs. Cooper and Mrs. Griffin. Thank you for your dedication and love for the FamiLEE. We appreciate you! Below is a list of what the students said about them.

Mrs. Cooper

She makes her lessons fun and she never yells. She will come and help us when we need it.

She actually teaches, and she’s positive in her comments to all students.

She seems really excited when students enter her classroom.

She always hears what you have to say. She actually listens.

She calms us with tea. I love coming to her class.

Mrs. Griffin

She explains our assignments really well and makes us think.

She's been a huge help to me deciding my future. She’s the best.

She teaches good even though some of her students may be annoying.
She always makes it a point to be positive and kind no matter what.
