Hawks Happenings Monthly Newsletter
February 2022 Edition
Principal's Message: Is it spring yet?
Hello Hawks families,
I hope this edition of the Hawks Happenings monthly newsletter finds you and your family healthy and happy. With February comes the longing for the return of sunshine and warmer weather! We certainly can feel it here in the school, as the month of February is sometimes described as one of the toughest for our kids. The lack of sunshine and vitamin D can play some tricks with our bodies, so many of us here at the school are hoping that this year the groundhog grants us a quick spring arrival!
February is also the month of Valentine's Day and this year our amazing Key Club and ASB student leaders are providing an opportunity for our students to send out vallo-grams to one another on Valentine's Day. By bringing in one can food item, a student can write a personalized note that will be delivered to a student of choice on Valentine's Day (with a tasty candy teat of course!).
In this month's edition of the Hawks Happenings newsletter, we share information about our recent J term experience and seek out your feedback to share with us from your parent lens, we have information to share about our upcoming "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" musical, spring sports registration, as well as Five Star Hawks recognitions.
Thank you for your continued understanding and flexibility as we navigate the often changing and complicated realities of COVID, quarantines, and tests to return protocols. If you ever have any questions about COVID related concerns please feel free to reach out to us at 509-522-3312.
Go Hawks!
