Habia means "there was/there were."

Regular Preterite Verbs- ahhh...the easy life!

Here are the endings for regular preterite verbs. Notice that 'er/-ir verbs are the same. But don't get overwhelmed...start with the 'yo' form. All verbs you use to speak about yourself will end in what? Practice with that and say out loud 10 things you did yesterday, last night, last weekend, and this morning.

If you do this out loud, it will work itself into your long-term memory faster!
