We hope all of our families are enjoying a fun, relaxing long weekend. It's hard to believe that we are almost a week into September already! We have several special events coming up this month and we want all of our Bulldog families to be able to attend.

• Pastries, Principals, and Parents- Thursday, September 8th- come have a cup of coffee and chat with fellow parents and your principal.
• Tuesday, September 13th- Breakfast with Grandparents- all grandparents are invited to join us for a light breakfast
• Bulldog Open House- Thursday, September 22nd- Come to school to see what your child is working on, meet the teachers, and get updates on our curriculum and projects.
• Wednesday, September 28th- Bulldogs in Action Meeting- if you want to be involved in the projects we have planned, this is the meeting for you! We will welcome all participants on zoom and in person.

We will be kicking off our Journey North Project this month- students will be making their ambassador butterflies and sending them off to Michoacán, Mexico for the winter migration period and planning the rebuild of our campus garden. Parents are invited to help with the construction of this 20 feet by 10 feet raised butterfly garden.

Our used uniform drive is underway- please bring your gently used uniforms to drop off or pick up and we will get them from your car. Our student ambassadors are planning a used uniform sale/exchange for October.

Finally- we are kicking off our Stand Up to Childhood Cancer drive with the sale of "Are You Kidding Me" socks. All families are encouraged to participate. Are You Kidding Me socks is a company started by brothers Sebastian and Brandon Martinez in 2014 when they were only 7 and 8 years old. They donate money to Stand Up To Childhood Cancer every time a BridgePrep family makes a purchase. On September 30th, we will have a "Sockhop" to celebrate our work. Beverly's Angels of Naples has gifted several backpacks filled with school supplies for our students. We know that sometimes money is tight and financial emergencies arise at the worst times. It's time to clean your closets! Now accepting gently used, laundered uniforms. Please drop off during carline drop off or pick up- we will take them from your car for you. Place your child's name in the bag of uniforms so you can receive credit.

Our first Used Uniform Sale will take place in October. Each family will get a voucher for uniforms turned in to use for credit during the Used Uniform Sale. If you do not have a credit voucher, all items will sell for $5 per item.
