The End is Quickly Approaching
Believe it or not, we have just six weeks remaining in the 2018-19 school year, and even though the end of the year is quickly approaching, we still have a lot to accomplish as we continue to help the students master the current grade level content, while also helping to prepare them for what lies ahead next year. In the coming weeks, each grade level will have special events/trips taking place, and our first grade students will have the opportunity to visit Freeland Elementary and tour the building with Mrs. Criner, FES Principal.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6th-10th. Although we appreciate the hard work and dedication of our teachers throughout the school year, we may not always take the time to say “thank you.” The teachers here at the Learning Center are extraordinary educators. Their impact on children extends far beyond the classroom, and I am sure you will agree that their efforts are appreciated more than words can express.
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, the Freeland PTO is providing your child a chance to honor their teacher on the school’s Hall of Fame! If your student would like to participate and have their gram hung on the Hall of Fame, please have them fill out the gram, along with $1. They can submit these to their teacher or the office by Monday, May 6th. All proceeds will be used for Teacher Appreciation Week.
