Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome back!

The first week of school your child will bring home a great deal of information and paperwork. Please take the time to look it over and return to school any of the papers that require your information and/or signature. Emergency forms must be updated, front and back, signed and returned immediately.

Arrival: students line up at 8:25 a.m. and are in their classrooms at 8:30 a.m. Students arriving after 8:30 a.m. are considered tardy and will need to be accompanied to the office by an adult and signed in. Students are allowed into the school or playground at 8:00 a.m. when there is teacher supervision. Please be aware that we are not fully supervised until 8:15 a.m.

Dismissal: walkers are dismissed at 2:40 p.m., parent pick up is at 2:45 p.m.. It is our expectation that you will make every effort to ensure your child begins and ends the day on the right track by arriving before 8:25 a.m. and picking up at 2:45 p.m. It is important for your child to arrive on time and to be picked up on time.

School lunch, milk and breakfast can be purchased in school or online at www.schoolcafe.com. If you purchase milk by the month, please notify your child’s teacher. We also have a breakfast program available from 8:00 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. each day.

Our Ice Cream Social sponsored by the Gibbons PTA will take place on September 13th at 6:00 p.m.

Back to School Night will be on Thursday, September 19th, from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Look for more information about this night in early September.

The “virtual backpack” will contain copies of notices and community events. In addition, the Stoughton Schools Elementary Student and Parent Handbook is available online.
