We will only have two days of school next week. There will be no school Wednesday-Friday, November 22nd-24th, for Thanksgiving break. I hope you all enjoy a wonderful holiday with family. Students and staff will have a full week of learning then during the week of November 27th.

The 7th Grade Minutemaids finished their season with a two point loss in the regional championship game on Wednesday. They fought hard, and we are so proud of what they accomplished this year. Our 8th Grade Minutemaids will begin regionals this Saturday. Stay tuned for updates on how they do in their first few games of regionals. We are hosting the 8th Grade Sectional at BH. The junior high boys basketball team will have their next home games on December 4th, 5th, and 7th. Trap registration and volleyball tryouts will be coming soon during the first part of December. Our junior high students have many ways to get involved at BH!

We would also like to recognize Kendyll Steward on being awarded the IESA Sportsmanship Award during the regional championship game by our officials. This is a great honor! We are so proud of Kendyll and encourage all of our athletes to sport a winning attitude on and off the court.

Junior High Minutemaids Volleyball tryouts are December 4th and 5th from 3:30 - 5:00 at Wolf Ridge. Athletes must have a current physical on file before tryouts.

We also have about 25 yearbooks that are available for purchase from last year if anyone forgot to purchase them. They are $15 each. Email Misty Perez at mperez@bhcusd.org if you are interested in purchasing a yearbook from the 2022-2023 school year. First come first serve!

Students will not have school on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday for Thanksgiving break.

There will be a staff volleyball game against Southwestern staff this evening. Come cheer on the BH staff and support a great cause, but be sure to change into your RED for this event.

Student Council is hosting a winter dance from 6:30-8:30 for 6th, 7th & 8th grade students.

This day marks the end of our second quarter of school. PFK will host class parties on this day.

School will resume for students on Monday, January 8th.
