Principal's Corner

Hello Eagle Families,

We are approaching the midpoint of the 23.24 school year! In fact, the last day of the quarter is Thursday, January 11. We are also quickly approaching winter conferences on February 5th and 8th. Sign-up Genius links will be shared with families and we look forward to the opportunity to visit with you about your learners' progress.

One of the wonderful aspects of being an A+ school is our emphasis on Multiple Intelligences (MI). To enrich the work our teachers and students do around MI, we held a Multiple Intelligences Day on Thursday, December 21st. This day involved your child getting to learn from numerous community members that impact change while engaging in many hands-on learning opportunities. Our focus for the first MI Day of the school year was Hobbies. Thank you to all the teachers, staff, and community members to make this day such a unique learning experience for our students!

Coins for Kids

Thank you for your participation in Coins for Kids! Students at Eugene Field A+ Elementary School raised $847.19. The Sioux Falls School District raised over $19,000 for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Way to go!

MI Day

On the last day before break, students were able to enjoy their first MI Day of the school year. Families and community members joined EFA+ to teach students about different hobbies related to our Multiple Intelligences. At the end of the school day, students were able to take home a gift related to a hobby they might enjoy!

EFA+ PTA Information

The purpose of PTA is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. At Eugene Field A+, the PTA is a collective of parents, teachers, and other interested parties who want to support and be involved in the education of our children.
