Martin School Family Update

Dear Martin Families and Caregivers,

Thank you to all those who came to our K-2 Open House on Thursday! It was wonderful seeing you all! Next Thursday will be our Open House for families of students in grades 3-5. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Also, Sunday is Constitution Day! Constitution Day celebrates the official signing of the US Constitution which happened on September 17 in 1787. Happy Constitution Day to all!

If you've ever organized a play date or birthday party, you know how important email addresses and cell phone numbers are. To help Martin families connect with other Martin families, our MSA puts together a school directory each year. Information collected for the directory includes student/parent names, emails, phone numbers, etc. You can choose to submit as much or as little information as you would like. Participation in the directory is optional, but it is a wonderful tool for families to have. Additionally, the directory is password protected.

If your interested in being a Library Volunteer, Mrs. Doucette is hosting an orientation on Monday, September 18 at 12:30pm.

Martin's Open House for Grades 3-5 is scheduled for Thursday, September 21 from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Students are welcome to attend! Come visit your children's classrooms and meet the teachers!

Next Friday, the MSA will kick off Martin's Pumpkin Stroll (Previously known as the Fun Run). During the kick off, students will be told about the event and watch teachers and staff engage in a tricycle race!! The big kick off will be outside during school hours.

Our MSA is hosting a Kindergarten Social for all Kindergarten families on Wednesday, September 27th from 6-6:45pm (rain date: Oct.4). The MSA has hired Entertainer Stacey Lake from Small Shakers and Singers to get the children dancing! This is an outside event and will be located in the back of Martin. Freeze pops will be served! Feel free to bring blankets and camping chairs to sit down and enjoy the show.
