I am excited for Monday already! I hope you are, too.

Monday is the 100TH DAY OF SCHOOL! Our kindergarten and first grade students usually go all out to celebrate this special day. One of the learning standards for kindergarten is to count to 100. They will be counting their way to 100 in many different fun ways. One of the learning standards for first grade students is to count to 120 and write those numbers. Our first grade students will be celebrating, too! Please encourage your child by recognizing their hard work and persistence during the first 100 days of school this year.

Monday is also the sectional game for our 7th Grade Minutemen Basketball Team! They won regionals and now have a chance to qualify for the state competition. If we have enough interest from our 5th-8th grade students, we will be taking a fan bus to the game that evening. Check out more information about the fan bus and pics of our regional champs below.

Mondays can sometimes be a hard day to want to come back to school after a nice relaxing weekend. However, there is always something to look forward to at Wolf Ridge! Thank you for showing up and working hard these past 100 days at school. Let's keep up the positive momentum for our next 100 (just kidding...we only have 76 student attendance days left after the 100th day). I can't wait to celebrate with everyone on Monday.

Spring photos will be taken on March 7th. Spring photos are offered to the whole school, but we will only take pictures of those who have ordered prior to picture day this year (order online or using order forms).

Parents/guardians will not be able to order after picture day since pictures will only be taken of those students that order prior to picture day.

It's never too early to purchase your Wolf Ridge Yearbook for this school year. They will be $15 now and will go up to $18 starting January 1st. Click on the link below to order today!

We also have about 25 yearbooks that are available for purchase from last year if anyone forgot to purchase them. They are $15 each. Email Misty Perez at mperez@bhcusd.org if you are interested in purchasing a yearbook from the 2022-2023 school year. First come first serve!

Students will be dismissed at 12:30. Teachers will be meeting for professional development meetings in the afternoon.

We will have class parties for K-5 students to exchange Valentines.

There will be no school on this day for President's Day.
