As we unwind and embrace summer vacation, please take time to disconnect in order to reconnect! Here are some helpful tips:

🌞 Disconnect to Reconnect: Unplug those devices, step away from screens, and dive into offline adventures. Rediscover the joy of face-to-face conversations, soak up the summer vibes, and create memories to cherish.

🌞 Offline Hobbies, On Point: Unleash your creativity beyond screens! Dust off that easel, strum that guitar, whip up a delicious summer recipe, or dive into a good old-fashioned book. Offline hobbies make for fantastic summer adventures!

🌞 Nature Nurtures: Embrace the great outdoors! Let the sunshine rejuvenate your spirit, and venture into nature's playground. Go hiking, swim, or just laze around under the shade of a tree. Nature has the best Wi-Fi signal for your soul.

We have a designated website to get everyone up and running with Parent Square! This information has been shared with all families in the district, and we will continue to add information to the FAQ section as questions come up throughout the summer. As a reminder, all district communication will come through on Parent Square as of July 1.

1. Log into Parent Square by visiting: https://www.parentsquare.com/signin Click Sign in with Google (while you are logged into your HF Google Account).

2. Download the App for a convenient experience.

3. Check out the Parent Square teacher resource page! This website has excellent articles, tutorials, and videos that are designed to help teachers get started.

One of my favorite tech tools is Padlet! You can sign up with Google for a free account. With Padlet, you can have your students and staff collaborate on a board. The posts pop up in real-time, or you can have the posts moderated before they appear on the Padlet board. The free version allows you to create three Padlet boards, but you can reuse boards as needed!

Check out the HF Summer Reading Padlet! Jot down your favorite books and enjoy some summer reading. Add a post by clicking the pink plus sign on the bottom right.

Think Before You Click!

More than 90% of successful cyber-attacks start with phishing emails. Phishing is when a link or webpage looks legitimate, but it's a trick designed to have you reveal personal and sensitive information. If you receive a link that you don't recognize, trust your instincts, and think before you click!

• NEVER send personal information (banking, account information, passwords, SS number, etc) in an email.
• District administrators will never ask you for passwords or account information over email.
• When in doubt, send the email over to the helpdesk.
