Kick off to Eagle Time!!

Tuesday

Brief Faculty Meeting at 3:30 (note this has changed days)

-Daily use of growth mindset journal, continued use of Be the One Language

-Weekly Update Smore sent to parents from teacher team (please cc admin team)

Note: Discipline Reminder-Please write silent lunches up as minor incident and note parent contact.

By Friday you will have:

-Class list for Eagle Time you are teaching.

-Class list by HR

-Materials needed for reading group you are teaching (copies of CSI/LLI and copies of Word Gen)

-Suggested Math Materials 4th Grade, 5th Grade (paper copies), 6th Grade

A digital copy of groups, locations and roles can be found here.

This is an opportunity to work in very small groups of students on their level to help them achieve individual growth. Please focus first on building relationships and helping students understand their potential for growth!

-Sign up on Tuesday September 11th. There will be a list of descriptions as well as a sign up link. They will get club assignments by Friday.

-Teacher Duties can be found here and will begin on September 17th. I tried as much as possible to pair you with your first or second choice.

Chick Fil A-We ask that each staff member sign up for one hour per year at our Chick Fil A Spirit Nights. Please take a moment to sign up here.

Community Outreach: Off Site Tutoring-We are organizing off site tutoring at Selma Burke and Meadow Lark Glen. If you are interested in tutoring a day a week, please e-mail Tonya.

Community Outreach: Satellite Parent Nights-We will be organizing satellite parent nights this year. The first one will be for curriculum night. We will have off site locations at Selma Burke and MeadowLark Glen. If you are a non-core teacher that would like to support one of these locations or if you have an idea for further topics to be used this year, please e-mail Greg.

-no coverings on any doors. No items attached to doors (wreaths, name banners, etc.)

-no extension cords with surge protector

-no plug in aromas

-only 3 prong plugs

-no fridges, no heaters, no a/c units, no oil diffusers, no salt rock lamps

-lamps-if you have a lamp in your room please get an approved sticker from the front office.
