Mt. Baldy School Memo

Southern California Edison is doing work in the Mt. Baldy area Monday and there will be many areas in the viillage without power.

We are being provided with a generator so that we will be able to have school that day.

Please be advised that there will be no parking on the south end of the parking lot due to the generator.

If you came to our back to school visit last week, you received some COVID-19 tests. If you didn't have a chance to come up, we are giving out free tests to anyone who needs or wants them! San Bernardino County generously donated quite a few to us--they expire in June, so we want to make sure they are available for anyone who would like to have some on hand.

These tests are free--they come with a prepaid package to send the tests in via FedEx. The only catch is that you need to test and send in the kit Monday through Thursday because the lab must get the test within 48 hours.

If you would like some tests please contact the office, and we will be glad to send some home with your child along with instructions.

Mt. Baldy School has partnered with Care Solace to support our community’s mental health.

Our school's students, staff members and their families can use Care Solace to quickly find verified mental health, behavioral health, and substance use treatment options matched to their needs regardless of circumstances or insurance coverage.

Care Solace will assign a personal Care Concierge to support you through the process of finding mental health care. Your Care Concierge will identify available providers who accept your insurance; private, Medi-Cal, sliding scale or cost-free options. They will help you book an appointment and check in afterward to see if you like the provider or need additional support.

We have a correction to the information provided on March 7th regarding meals. Due to the meal distribution methods currently in place by CDE and USDA , we will not be able to distribute lunches from our school. We ask that families drop by curbside meal distribution sites to obtain meals for their children.
