Monsoons start STRONG!
We want to thank our students and staff for an outstanding start to the 2022-23 school year. Our students brought the unique energy that only 7th to 12th grade students can! We are so excited about what lies ahead for our students, school and school community.
We began meeting with all of our students on Friday starting with the 7th and 8th grade students during their PE classes. We will continue these meetings this week using the following schedule:
- Ninth Grade Students: Meetings taking place during Science Classes (Monday)
- Tenth Grade Students: Meetings taking place during Science Classes (Tuesday)
- Eleventh Grade Students: Meetings taking place during English Classes (Wednesday)
- Twelfth Grade Students: Meetings taking place during Government Classes (Thursday)
With that, we wanted to share with our community partners that we will be focusing our support for student excellence around our SOONS Expectations!

Shelter in Place, Lockdown and Violent Intruder Protocols to be Introduced and Reviewed on Tuesday during 2nd Period.
The safety of our students and staff remains the highest priority for the Bellflower Unified School District. We will review the protocols above with our students on Tuesday so that we can all be prepared in case we ever encounter situation that call for us to activate these protocols. We certainly hope that this is NEVER the case on our campus, or any other campus. However, we want to make certain that our students and staff are ready to respond should they occur.
