9th Grade Mock Interviews Coming Soon!
The 9th grade mock interviews are coming up on Tuesday, February 27. 2024!! We are excited to have professionals from our community business partners and LPS families that will assist us in conducting the interviews. I met with all of the 9th grade students this Thursday to go over the schedule of the day(what , expectations on dress and behavior, calming techniques if they are nervous, and what they can expect from the interviewers.
A few important reminders:
- This is a big part of the student's grade in their Teen Leadership class. Please make arrangements for your student to be present at school on Tuesday, February 27th.
- Students are required to wear professional dress on the day of the interviews. If students are unable to wear professional dress, they are able to wear their school uniform. If dresses or skirts are worn for professional dress, dress code will be enforced. (skirts/dresses length must be no shorter than 4 inches above the floor when kneeling)
- If students wear professional dress to school, they are able to bring their school uniform to change into after their interview. (students must be in uniform or professional dress only)
We are excited and look forward to the success and growth of our students though this event!!
