What is Community Connections?
Each month we will have at least 2 activities for families to participate in*.
These have all been designed and created with suggestions from YOU, the Community Coordinators, and with geographic areas in mind. Currently, we have Middle and High School Community Connections Events in the High Desert, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario/Chino, and Redlands!
For TK-5th events:
*Please keep in mind that CC Events are not drop-off nor are the CC staff responsible for supervising students at these events. Parents are responsible for providing supervision of their children for every Community Connection activity, event, and field trip. Families may work together to carpool, but an adult must be present at all activities.

Lunch & Games
Let's get to know each other more by grabbing some lunch at the Victor Valley Mall Food Court and playing some games. Banagrams, Uno, Qwirkle, or whatever game you want to bring (or suggest for Stacie to bring)
There are many choices for lunch in the food court, but feel free to bring your own lunch.

Rock Climbing
Date: Friday 1/31/20
Come and join us for an exciting couple hours of indoor rock climbing and bouldering.
Students, parents, children, friends; try a sport that requires no gear while simultaneously testing your endurance, strength, and creativity. No special training or skills needed, just a bit of stretching before and after :)
Cost is $10 per climber, and includes full access to the 10,000 sq ft facility. There is on-site WiFi, drinks, and a retail shop. Those with the energy are welcome to stay longer than our 2 hour event time :)
Although this event is middle-school focused, older and younger siblings, friends, and parents, are also welcome to attend and participate :)

Laser Tag
Date: Friday 1/24/20
Come join us for 3 hours of private party, unlimited laser tag and arcade access, at Lazer Legacy in Yucaipa!
Cost is $25 per student, payable by student instructional funds. Parent/Chaperone ticket paid for by Inspire.
Let's pack the place again! Invite other families, students, and friends :)

Empire Bowl!

Please arrive about 15 minutes before to get sized for shoes and find the right size bowl!
***This is a high school event however any middle school students or siblings are more than welcome to join!
Students will have their own lanes and any participating parents will have a separate lane to bowl as well! Invite your friends!

Cal State San Bernardino Challenge Course! (FULL)

****This is a high school event however middle school students can join in on the fun, invite your friends and family to step out of their comfort zone and begin the new year from new heights!
The Center's programs provide a safe environment that allows participants to step outside their comfort zone and take a risk, learn and grow.
- Increase awareness of self, attitudes, behaviors, etc.
- Increase confidence and self-esteem
- Enhance coordination and agility
- Enhance an understanding and respect for individual differences
- Promote expression of thoughts and feelings

Come scale the rock walls with us at Hangar 18! From bouldering to auto-belays, and top-roping to lead climbing, come to have fun at one of the best indoor climbing in the country! This field trip is open to Inspire families ages 8 and older.
***This event is for Middle/High School Students, however, if you have younger siblings that are Inspire students you are welcome to use your funds to pay for them and your adult chaperone tickets so all can join in the fun!.
*** All participants must complete both a liability waiver and an orientation checklist; If you are under
18, the waiver must be completed by your parent or legal guardian.***

My name is Sarah Stevenson and I am the Community Coordinator in the beautiful mountain areas of Crestline/Lake Arrowhead/Running Springs. The San Bernardino mountains are just a short drive from Rancho Cucamonga and neighboring cities. There are so many fun field trips that I have planned that all grade levels might be interested in.
