Boerne ISD Registration Info

Boerne ISD Families,

Our district is getting ready for the 2021-2022 school year. Online Registration for returning students and Online Enrollment of new students will open on Friday, March 5th. Action must be taken whether you are registering your returning student or adding a new student, so please log-in to your existing Skyward Family Access Account. Families who do not have a current student enrolled at BISD will need to create a Skyward account starting on Friday, March 5th. Once you are in Skyward navigate to the clipboard icon titled Campus Name, Returning Student to begin.

The last day to register a returning student is the last day of school this year, Wednesday, May 26th, 2021.

We have attached a helpful, “How to Enroll a Student”, document to this email. Additionally, we have included an “Online Support Manual” to answer potential questions you might have about the process.

If you are enrolling a new student in your family there is no need to create a new Skyward account. To add a new student to your existing Skyward Account please log into your current Skyward account navigate to the dropdown menu next to the Home Icon and select “New Student Enrollment“ link. Do this for each student you need to add to your existing account. Please refer to the previously mentioned “How to Enroll a Returning Student” support document showing how to complete this process.

The enrollment/registration process is not compatible with mobile devices, meaning you must complete the process on a computer. You may contact your campus registrar if you experience a problem or do not see the necessary icons on your account. Should you have any questions or problems please contact your campus to schedule an appointment to complete the forms.

Please note, when you are registering/enrolling your students, you will not see a selection of In-Person or E-Learning on Skyward. You are simply enrolling/registering as a district student for 2021-22. The Texas Education Agency has not identified e-learning as an option for 2021-22. Should this change and E-Learning become an option, we will update Boerne ISD families.

Also, the 2021-22 enrollment/registration process begins the first day of Spring Break, March 5th, 2021. All Boerne ISD offices will be closed for Spring Break and will resume regular business hours on Monday, March 15th, 2021. If you contact campus registrars during spring break they will not be available to answer your questions until they return to school on March 15th. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Pre-K and Kindergarten Enrollment

Pre-K and Kindergarten enrollment will be done Online this year. Families must qualify for PreK. To find out if you meet eligibility criteria for Pre-K please contact Renee Munn, Director of Early Childhood Education.

Campus registrars will be available to walk families through the enrollment process in-person at every district campus during regular business hours. Please call your campus to schedule an appointment.

Registrars will also show families how to use the Skyward application on their personal computers and phones for continued access. Please contact the campus registrar if you would like more information.
