Hometown Families:
The beginning of May is officially here! We are down to 22 school days left. Next week we celebrate our teachers! Their hard work and dedication to our students is outstanding to witness on a daily basis! Please take a minute next week to send a note of thanks for all of their hard work.
We have one more MAP testing day this week. We will test on Thursday, May 4th. Any make up testing will take place next week.
We were excited to have our middle school students come to the building on Friday of last week for a "Day of Service". They helped create small gifts for our teachers; helped in the garden; and worked in classrooms. We were thankful for their help.
Just a reminder that there is a late start Wednesday, May 3rd.
Reverse Inclusion Day
Last week, students participated in our first reverse inclusion day. Three general education students from each classroom were selected to go spend some time down the CASE hallway with our special needs students. They played games, made cookies, created art projects and played outside on the park together. It was a special day for our CASE kiddos to be able to share with their general education friends what their classrooms look like. There were so many giggles and smiles as they enjoyed an afternoon together. Thank you to our CASE teachers and paraprofessionals for making this day so special. We look forward to doing more activities like this during the next school year.
