Principals Message
Good morning GREEN parents/guardians,
Thank you for ensuring your student is walking safely to and from school/home. Please talk to your student about:
—Students should be vigilant of their surroundings. Do not put in headphones and turn up music loudly. Walk with one headphone in OR low volume so they can hear their surroundings.
—For students' safety, it is important to walk to and from home/school in groups.
—Students must find an adult or call the police if they see or are approached by a stranger. Report to the Oxnard Police Department any suspicious car, person(s) or activity.
—Avoid suspicious cars/person(s) and don't talk or take money, cell phones, candy, etc.
—Students should walk directly home and not linger at Carty Park nor any other community park for their safety.
__Please talk to your students about the time you expect them to arrive home. Don’t send your student to school with cash to prevent them from lingering around after school making purchases from the ice cream carts.
