Principal's Message
Hello!
For those of you that don't know me, my name is Ryan Rafanelli and I am the new principal at E.T. Wyman Elementary School for the 2023-24 school year. I am extremely excited to be joining the Wyman school community and to work with community members this upcoming school year! Before coming to Warwick, I was most recently an Assistant Principal at Alan Shawn Feinstein Middle School of Coventry. Prior to that, I was a social studies teacher in several districts over the past eight years. As a lifelong Warwick resident and Warwick alumnus, I am very excited to be back in Warwick and I am eagerly looking forward to the upcoming school year.
This past Thursday, we hosted kindergarten orientation for incoming kindergartners and a principal meet and greet. It was great getting to meet all the parents/guardians and scholars that were able to attend. For those of you who were unable to attend, please see below for further information in regards to morning arrival/afternoon dismissal procedures, important announcements and upcoming dates.
Together as a team and entire school community, we will be able to collaborate with each other and ensure equitable outcomes and success for all of our scholars! I look forward to a great year ahead and hope that you all are enjoying the last few days of summer and this beautiful Labor Day Weekend. We will see everyone on Tuesday September 5th for the first day of school. Have a great rest of your weekend!
Respectfully,
Ryan Rafanelli, M. Ed.
