Psalm 25:5 ESV
Today's Guide
When preparing for today, think about the following: Waiting on God.
Food For Thought
Today’s scripture reminds us that God is our salvation and our hope. In times of grief and despair, we can turn to Him for comfort and assurance. Through His truth and guidance, He will lead us through the darkness and into a place of safety and peace.
In today’s scripture, we are urged to seek God's truth in order to gain understanding and wisdom from Him. It is important to remember that God knows our hearts more intimately than anyone else; He knows the heartache and loneliness we may feel when facing dark times. His love for us does not waver no matter how difficult things become, and He will be there with us every step of the way as we walk through grief together.
Today’s scripture also speaks of waiting on the Lord all day long; this is a reminder that no matter what comes our way, we must remain faithful in trusting God’s plan, even when it seems hard or overwhelming. As life's storms come our way, we can take courage in knowing that God holds all things together - He is our refuge and strength who offers everlasting hope in times of distress. Knowing this gives us the strength to keep going even when it feels like everything around us is falling apart.
In moments of grief, God is our salvation and hope, with whom we wait all day long for His grace and mercy. Although grief brings pain that can seem unbearable at times, God offers an unfailing source of hope as He leads us through uncertain days ahead until we reach a place of peace once again.
Gratitude
When it comes to having a grateful heart, today I am reminded we often forget how blessed we truly are and how lucky we are to have people in our lives who love us, support us, and are our champions. Who are you grateful for in your life? This week, I challenge you to take a moment and pause to thank God for those He has put in your life and find time to express your gratitude and thankfulness to them.
Today's Prayer
God, I come to you with an open heart and a willingness to learn. You are my salvation, and I'm humbled knowing that You will always be there for me in good times and bad. Each day, I strive to put my faith in You and seek the refuge of Your protection. Lord, help me understand Your ways so that I may walk in them each day. Amen
