Final Week of School May 22-26, 2023

From the Principal

We've made it to the last week of the 2022-23 school year. It sees like the year just started!

Half-Days

Thursday and Friday will be half days with dismissal at 11:10. If you will be sending someone to pick-up your child, please be sure they have a car tag or call the office (864-397-2500) to let them know who has your permission to pick-up your child.

K4 Spots Open

We have K4 slots open of 2023-24 - please spread the word!

Clap Out Information for 5th Grade Parents

The Clap Out will begin at 10:45, please be sure to be in place by 10:45.
Because all of our students will be moving just before the Clap Out begins, we will not be able to accommodate sign-outs after 10:40. If you have a younger child you would like to sign-out so they can be with you during the Clap-Out and leave with you at the end of the Clap-Out, you may begin signing these students out at 10:15. Once the Clap-Out begins, all students in grades K-4 will be dismissed as normal through the car line.
At the end of the Clap-Out, parents will meet their 5th graders for signing out, as follows: Room 101 (Parris/Flowers); Room 102 (Bruner/Shows); Exit Hallway Near Room 103 (Metcalf). If you have multiple adults with you, please send only one adult for sign-out. Once students are signed out, you will exit through the small courtyard to make your way to the front of the building.

Report Cards

Report Cards will be given out at dismissal Friday, 5/26. Report cards will not be mailed, but may be picked-up Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (May 30, 31, and June 1).

Mrs. Schaupp is our Teacher of the Month!

Congratulations to Mrs. Schaupp for being chosen as our final "Teacher of the Month!" Mrs. Schaupp teaches our Quest students at West End. One of our parents said, "My son adores Mrs. Schaupp. He looks forward to Wednesdays because he gets to go to her class. When Mrs. Schaupp was testing students, he was devastated that he missed her class. I also saw multiple students asking her in the hall when she would be able to pull them again for Quest. They were all so disappointed and Mrs. Schaupp felt so sad that she had to miss their class. She is such a kind, passionate teacher. Our family is grateful for her! Our friends at Trinity Point presented her with a personalized cup this week! Way to go Mrs. Schaupp!
