Happy Thanksgiving Week ahead! I hope everyone has some time next week to pause and think about all the gratitude they have in their lives. I know that I feel thankful everyday to work with a loving and supportive staff, to feel how much love our families and community have for Santa Rita and the amazing students who come to school everyday happy and ready to learn. Thank you to every family that makes this possible each day.
Tonight we have a PTA meeting at 7 pm in the Multi, I hope to see many of you there. There will be a raffle also for the book Growing Up In Public, a book from the MVLA Parent Series. 3 parents will win!
Please see the email you received through Classroom Parent for the slides and zoom link if you cannot be here in person.
Have a wonderful week!
Be Kind, Be Strong, Be Well and Stay Bobcat Strong!

At Santa Rita, we have opened up the Kindergarten playground at 2:30 for those families that need to wait for older children. Please be sure you are keeping an eye on your students and that they are playing kindly with others and staying within the Kinder playground area only.
Thank you.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, December 16th
Club: Bobcats on the Run
$10 Discount Code: bobcats
We look forward to walking, jogging, and running with you. Our Bobcats have been working so hard and we can't wait for them to show off their Santa Rita Spirit.
Ms. AJ Johnson and Ms. Kathleen Won
We are thankful for the generous LASD families who have donated to LAEF to fund specialized teachers and programs this school year. With your support, our students have so many opportunities!
PE teachers encourage students to get active and practice teamwork. Every student partitipates in ART lessons that combine appreciation and hands-on activities. COMPUTER SCIENCE teachers and STEM challenges inspire students to be curious and solve problems. MUSIC teachers help 4th-6th grade students learn an instrument and participate in the school band, orchestra, or choir. Each school’s LIBRARY is staffed by a librarian who supports student research, reading for enjoyment, and gathering with friends. MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES are available to help students through challenging times.
If you have yet to give this school year, donate to LAEF today. Let’s make sure our students continue to experience these wonderful programs.
