MES Weekly Scoop
It's a great day to be a Bulldog! Bulldogs Don't Quit!
Super bowl weekend is here and it seems most everyone around is excited to see the local team in the biggest game in the world again. Looking at students and staff we see a lot of chiefs attire. I wonder if these elementary kids even know that for a long time Chiefs fans didn't have much to cheer about. In fact prior to 2019 it had been 50 years since they had been to a superbowl. Many of those seasons were dismal at best.
The Chiefs didn't get to where they are by accident, and no it is not a NFL conspiracy. There are several characteristics to a great team. The two I want to point out seems to have been there for a while now and has become their identity. Hard work and perseverance are things that we try to teach here at MES. The great thing is, you don't have to be born with these traits. These are two character traits that you can develop. Effort and attitude is all it takes. GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!
