Bernardo Parent Bulletin #10
October 2, 2022
Fall Family Night Was a Huge Success!
A huge thank you to Andrea Ingold and Heather Imeson who organized the event. Thank you to all of our parents and staff who donated their time as well as items that allowed us to put together such a memorable event for our students. Thank you to the students from San Pasqual who volunteered their time to work at the various games and stations. Everyone pulling together in such a fantastic way led to an amazing evening!

Parent Conferences this Thursday & Friday!
For parent-teacher conferences, there is no need to sign in at the office since students will not be in attendance. We'll have the front gates open so that parents can simply walk directly to the classrooms for their conferences.
Remember that there is no school for students on either of these days.
Save the Date for our Family Science Night!
We are looking for some parent volunteers to help with this event. If available, please email our PTA at theBernardoPTA@gmail.com.
Thank you to our amazing PTA for sponsoring this event which will be free for our families!
Please Consider Joining our Bernardo Yearbook Committee
Our Bernardo Yearbook Committee Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 12 in the Library from 2:30-3:00! All Parents who are interested in helping with the Bernardo 2022-23 Yearbook are invited to come. We hope to have at least one parent volunteer for each grade level!
Drop-Off/Pick-Up Reminders
Thank you for all of your cooperation in following our guidelines during drop-off and pick-up. Here are just a couple of reminders to help things run smoothly and safely.
- Please do not exit your vehicle in the drop-off/pick-up line. If you need to assist your child, please consider parking and walking in or at least pulling all of the way forward in the line so that others behind are not held up.
- Please have children exit from passenger side of the car. Otherwise, they either have to cross in front of other cars.
- If someone else ever picks up your child who is not familiar with our procedures, please prepare them about what to expect, especially during pick-up. We feel bad whenever someone comes to school for pick-up and is overwhelmed due to not being prepared. We don't want anyone to feel like Michael Keaton did in the classic movie "Mr. Mom!"
