Let me encourage you to stop and pray today for Trinity Baptist Church and Skylar Spradlin (the pastor). With the loss of their building to fire last week, it will be months, if not longer, before they have a permanent home again. Pray that God will grant them wisdom and favor as they begin the work of demolition and rebuilding. Pray that God will grant them a space that works well for them in the mean time. Pray that the members would be flexible and adapt to all of the changes. Pray that they will be resilient and not get distracted from their calling to make disciples. We have invited Trinity to join us for our Thanksgiving Meal this year.

Speaking of which, Sunday night, November 20 at 6:00 p.m. we will be gathering in the gym for our annual Thanksgiving Meal. Because Trinity will be joining us, we are asking all of our members to bring 2 sides and 1 dessert. Our Kitchen Committee will provide turkey, dressing, and drinks. Cheryl Bell still needs a few more people to cook a turkey for the meal. Please contact her or the church office if you can prepare one.

Help make a child's Christmas memorable!

This year we are encouraging everyone to pick up a shoebox from the table outside of the Worship Center. There will not be a packing party. Take your shoebox home fill it and return it to the church by November 20 at our Thanksgiving Dinner.

Ideas to fill your box: soccer ball with hand pump, flashlight, hygiene items, socks, sandals, hair ties, stuffed animal, school supplies, sunglasses, yo-yo, jump rope, watch, kids jewelry, light-up toys, doll etc.

Please no candy, food, glass, scary or war related items.
