Dear BHS Parents and Guardians:
Congratulations to the 179 students that made the honor roll for Quarter 2. Please be on the look out for an invitation in the mail for the Quarter 2 Honor Roll Ceremony to be held on February 26th at 6:00 p.m. in the BHS Auditorium. Parents can check their Parent Portal as well to see if their child made the honor roll for Quarter 2.
March Parent Teacher Conferences are quickly approaching! Conferences will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 6th and Thursday, March 7th form 12:45 - 2:50 p.m. They will also be held in the evening on Thursday, March 7th from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. More information on how to schedule conferences will come out in the coming weeks.

BHS students have been working hard in their various art classes during Semester 1. Mrs. Garuti-Ashborn, art teacher at BHS, has created a platform where you can view student work and see the many talents of our students. This site will be updated weekly with new student work. Senior Class Dues
Senior Class Dues cost $250 and are due by April 1st. If you paid the first payment of $125 on November 1st, your second payment of $125 is also due on April 1st. Checks can be made out to Bloomfield High School. Class dues are to be paid in full.

BHS Athletics Update
Boys Basketball:
- On Tuesday, February 6th, BHS' Varsity Boys Basketball Team fell to New Britain, 45-55.
- On Wednesday, February 7th, BHS' Varsity Boys Basketball Team defeated East Hartford, 75-67.
- On Friday, February 9th, BHS' Varsity Boys Basketball Team defeated Newington, 68-59.
Girls Basketball:
- On Tuesday, February 6th, BHS' Varsity Girls Basketball Team fell to New Britain, 37-63.
- On Friday, February 9th, BHS' Varsity Girls Basketball Team fell to Newington.
Wrestling:
- On Wednesday, February 7th, BHS' Varsity Wrestling Team hosted its first home match in over forty years vs Windsor. Congratulations to seniors: Sammy Rivera and Raymond Rodriguez who were honored for Senior Night!
Boys Track:
- Congratulations to BHS' Boys Varsity Track Team on winning the Class 'S' State Championship on Friday, February 9th. BHS scored 80.5 points while Suffield scored 40 points to finish second. Top finishers for the boys were:
- Breydon Evans finished 6th in the 55 Meter Dash and 5th in the Long Jump
- Jahmeen Harrigan finished 1st in the 300 Meters
- Delante Senior finished 2nd in the 55 Meter Hurdles
- Zachary Blackwood finished 4th in the 55 Meter Hurdles
- Jessie Singleton Jr. finished 5th in the 55 Meter Hurdles and 4th in the Long Jump
- Khile Francis finished 1st in the Shot Put
- Ja'Mari Manson finished 1st in the High Jump and 2nd in the Long Jump
- The 4x2 Relay of Jahmeen Harrigan, Zachary Blackwood, Zakyi Kimber, Breydon Evans finished 1st
- The 4x4 Relay of Jahmeen Harrigan, Ja'Mari Manson, Sergio Rose Jr., and Zachary Blackwood finished 1st
- The 4x8 Relay of Jahiem Lawrence, Daylin McKim, Jaden Smith and Sergio Rose Jr. finished 6th
Girls Track:
- Congratulations to BHS' Girls Varsity Track Team on winning the Class 'S' State Championship on Friday, February 9th. BHS scored 119.5 points while Sacred Heart Academy scored 53 points to finish second. This was the 14th consecutive Class 'S' State Championship won by the girls. Top finishers for the girls were:
- Jahniya Barclay finished 1st in the 55 Meter Dash and 300 Meters
- Sianna Lloyd finished 2nd in the 55 Meter Dash and 3rd in the 300 Meters
- Dream Wilson finished 3rd in the 55 Meter Dash
- Nacquelia Fletcher finished 4th in the 55 Meter Dash
- Caleah Baker finished 2nd in the 300 Meter Dash and 5th in the Long Jump
- Soleigh Dixon finished 5th in the 300 Meter Dash and 6th in the High Jump
- Kiylah Williams finished 1st in the 600 Meters and 6th in the 300 Meters
- Payton Sirdine finished 3rd in the Shot Put
- Saphyr Brown finished 1st in the Long Jump
- Indya Norman finished 3rd in the Long Jump
