Mr. Dave Day

May 24th is Mr. Dave Day.


Please help us by honoring our one and only Mr. Dave! Mr. Dave has been VOLUNTEERING his time every morning for the last 5 years, in every type of weather. He has made it his personal mission to spread love and positivity to everyone each morning. He greets everyone with a big smile, keeps the traffic moving, helps kids out of their cars, walks kids to their classrooms if they are having a rough morning, hands out popcorn money to those kids who forgot it and sometimes helps with our morning announcements. On the 24th, if you would like to share a note, kind word, or a small token of appreciation with Mr. Dave, that would be amazing! He really does bring so much joy to our school and we feel that it is important that we let him know how much we appreciate him.

Hungry Howie's

Thank you to all the families who enjoy Hungry Howie's every month! So far, we have earned $2465.63! Congratulations to Ms. Wain's class! Her class was the pizza party winner 2 months in a row.


Our last Hungry Howie's day is Monday, May 15th.

Mr. David

David comes to work lunch at Central every day with Miss Boss. He has a developmental disability and Miss Boss is his caregiver. David gives hand sanitizer to the kids coming into the cafeteria. He loves volunteer work! David loves monster trucks, Nascar, riding his moped and watching funny movies.

Cassie

Miss Boss named herself "the Boss" being funny and it has stuck. She has 3 teenagers who all went to Central. She loves hanging out with younger kids because they still think she's funny and not "totally embarrassing" like her teenagers do. Miss Boss's favorite thing is Super Mario.

Kayla

Kayla graduated from Parchment High School in 2015. She is engaged and they have two children together. One is a kindergartener at Central and the other will turn 3 this summer. Kayla has worked at Central since November and the students love having her and her 3 year old helping out at lunch every day. Her favorite thing ever is Taylor Swift and she will be going to her concert this summer.

Lexi

Lexi has lived in Parchment her whole life and graduated from Parchment High School. She has 2 kids, one in Kindergarten at Central and the other one is a toddler. Lexi has been a lunch aide at Central for about 6 months. She enjoys volunteering as a t-ball coach with Parchment Little League. Lexi has a dog named Daisy and loves to spend her free time at home with her family.
