Superintendent's Proposed Budget for FY25
On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, Superintendent Potenziano presented his proposed fiscal year 2025 school budget to the school board. The full presentation with details on the budget is available here as a reference. There will be opportunities for public feedback, including an open forum at Town Hall on February 28th at 7 pm. Additionally, if community members would like to provide comments directly on the proposed budget, please use this link to submit feedback before the final budget is approved. The input from families, staff and residents is an important part of the budget process, so please consider attending the forum or submitting thoughts through the online form.

National School Counseling Week: February 5-9, 2024
This past week was National School Counseling Week! Our students at Kate Furbish Elementary School decided to recognize their school counselors with a video.
Huge shoutout to all of our school counselors throughout the district.

Maine Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Coach Fred Koerber speaks on behalf of JoAnne Palumbo-McCallie (HOF Class of 2014) and Todd Hanson (HOF Class of 2023) during a February 6, 2024 ceremony at Brunswick High School honoring their Maine Basketball Hall of Fame Inductions. Current Brunswick Senior Abrielle St. Pierre accepted the award on behalf of Palumbo-McCallie who was regrettably unable to attend.
Class of 2024 Fundraiser
The senior class is looking for help raising funds for senior activities such as
senior night carnival, senior fun field day, senior coffee...etc.
Julie Kenny
Assistant Principal at Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School
Julie is originally from Bath, ME. She attended Massachusetts College of Art for her Bachelors Degree and then on to New England College for her Masters Degree. Julie and her husband have been married for 13 years and they have two sons (ages 7 and 11). Together they have a family dog named Rosie.

I'm proud to work in a school with such welcoming staff and students.
What do you like to do outside of work for fun?
I love watching my sons play sports, traveling, sunny days at the beach, and cozying up on the couch with a good book.
