Culinary Arts has been busy whipping up omelettes, hard boiled, and scrambled eggs!

A big thank you to Ward Rumans and Joyce Anderson for all that they do to help students in our district!

Ms. Chan's Biology students completed a cellular respiration activity using yeast and balloons and crafted cellular mitosis/meiosis using pipe cleaners.

Students in Physical Science with Ms. Chan made a simple machine (levers, pulleys), and enjoyed making ice cream for a lesson related to heat/specific heat.

Planning on going to college in South Dakota?

October 1st through November 30th is the Free College Access Campaign for the state of South Dakota. During this time, you can apply to any of the six board of regent universities or South Dakota technical schools for free! Also, a reminder that seniors are allowed two exempt days for college visits. Please work with Mrs. Filipek to get the proper paperwork for those days to be exempt!

Stay caught up with your homework and grades by participating in Homework Help every Thursday in the SHS library from 3:30-5:00 pm. Come for a quiet space to work and extra support from teachers.

***Starting November 28th, Homework Help will be offered both Tuesdays and Thursdays until the end of first semester.***
