Annual Multilingual Services Programming Update
Melania Argueta Borchert, Multilingual Services Coordinator and Terilyn Robles, Director of Teaching and Learning presented an update on the ML department.
Phone Purchase
John Houwers, Director of Technology presented for approval of a districtwide phone purchase. The Board approved the funding of $229,276.00 with Krueger/Mitel now through October 15th, pending a better overall alternative.
Preliminary 3rd Friday of September Student Count
Ben Prather, Director of Business Services presented on the Preliminary Third Friday of September Student Count and Enrollment. Finalized numbers will be presented at the October 23rd Regular Meeting.
2nd Readings of Policies Approved
The following policies were approved for updates: 251, 445, NEW - 445-Rule, 521.1, 751.1-Rule (2), 870, and 870-Rule.

Donations

The following donations over $1,000.00 were accepted by the School Board with great appreciation:

  • $1,000.00 from Schenck Process LLC for Ferradermis
  • $1,500.00 from Walmart for Ferradermis
  • $2,000.00 from the UW-Whitewater Community Optimist Club for the Family Emergency Fund
  • $2,500.00 from MicroPrecision for Ferradermis

School Board Meetings are held in the Whitewater High School Library with Open Session beginning at 7:00pm.
