Williamston Primary "Tiger News!!!"

1. Car rider drop off will begin each morning at 7:30. All students will need to stay in their vehicles until a staff member directs them to begin entering the build.

2. Starting Monday 8/30/21 parents will no longer be allowed to escort students to class.

3. All Kindergarten - Second will report directly to class upon arrival to school. All student will pickup breakfast grab bags as they enter the building and will eat in their classrooms.

4.The School day begins at 7:50. All students will need to arrive to school before the 7:55 tardy bell.

5. All WPS students are encouraged to bring their own water bottles to school. All water fountains are stilled turned off.

6. Students will not be permitted to be signed out between 2:15 and 2:45.

7. During afternoon parents are to remain in their vehicles and in the car pickup line. Parents are not permitted to walk up to the building and get their child.

8. Dismissal Times: Car riders: 2:40, Bus Riders 2:35

Parents please make sure that you that you send your child to school each day with a mask. Also please help us in reviewing with your child the correct way to wear a mask.

1. Parents please remind your students to wear their mask everyday at all times while the are on the bus. Mask need to cover their nose and mouth.

2. If a bus change needs to be made parents will need to send a written note to your child's teacher stating what the change is.

3 If a child needs to be changed from a Car rider to a bus rider parents will need to send a written note to your child's teacher with the correct morning and afternoon pickup and drop off addresses.

Kindergarten:

1. I-ready BOY Diagnostic testing window will begin on August 30th.

2.Please be reminded that Kindergarten students must have current physicals and immunizations by September 22.

First Grade:

1. Please send a water bottle with your child each day.

2. Please return all student information sheets that went home on the first day of school.

3. Take home books will start on Monday August 30, 2021

4. I-ready BOY Diagnostic testing window will begin on August 30th.

Second Grade:

1. Please return all student information sheets that went home on the first day of school.

2. I-ready BOY Diagnostic testing window will begin on August 30th.

3.Please send water bottle with students each day.

4. If possible please send extra mask with students.

Music: (Second Graders): "Music Room Newsletter" will be in your child's homework folder next week. The newsletter will provide information about the "Tiger Troupe performance ensemble"

"Music Google Classroom": lesson activities are sent to student emails on Monday of Each Week.

Student Services:

1. Please be sure to return all student information sheets that were sent home this week.

Tops

Any solid color Polo shirt

Bottoms:

Khaki, Black, or Navy pants, skirts, or shorts

Solid colored leggings are only to be worn under a shirt or shorts

Students are not allowed to wear sweat pants or hoodies.

School Spirit Wear: Students are allowed to wear school spirit shirts on Fridays. However, students are still required to wear their uniform bottoms.

Parents please join us for our first PTA Meeting of the 2021-2022 school year. We will be meeting face to face in our Multipurpose Room. Mask will be required for all attendees. We are excited about working with all of our parents of WPS and we look forward to seeing your there.
