be Bremerton: A Day of Service is a districtwide event to show the Bremerton Community and the City of Bremerton our thanks for their tremendous support of the Bremerton School District and our students.
BSD students, staff, families and volunteers will gather at Evergreen Rotary Park the morning of Saturday, May 14, and then break-up into teams to clean up downtown Bremerton (We want the city looking good for the annual Armed Forces Day parade and celebration!). Afterward, we will gather back at the park and enjoy lunch provided by Seaside Church.
All participants receive a FREE t-shirt too (supplies limited so get there early!). If you've participated in the past and still have your t-shirt, please wear it and you'll be entered into a drawing for prizes!
We invite all Bremerton School District students, families, staff, and friends to join us for this day of service - and fun!
Our spring 2022 Family-School Relationship Survey for parents, family, and community members is now open!
As you may already be aware, growing our students’ social-emotional learning (“SEL”) skills is an important goal for our district. As part of these activities, we survey students and ask them to reflect on their own mindsets and approaches to learning. The data we get back informs our educational practices, and helps us continue to identify opportunities for growth and development with our students.
Our Family-School Relationship Survey is designed to help us learn about students’ self-perceptions, better understand student experiences in their learning environment, and identify opportunities to enhance support of teachers and counselors as they work in service of the whole student. The survey includes questions on topics such as:
- School safety
- School climate
- Family engagement
- Barriers to engagement
We hope you'll take a moment to participate!
Join us for "Understanding the Brain & Behavior: Strategies and Supports for Children Experiencing Behaviors"
You are invited to learn more about how to support our children (from preK-12th grade) as they learn to navigate the "new normal" after COVID and re-entering school!
