Fall is here!

The schoolhouse is a busy place during the fall months! There are so many things going on and we love parent and community support and involvment!

• End of the Quarter Friday 10/7
• NO School Monday 10/10 and Tuesday 10/11 For Fall Break!
• RED day 10/12, WHITE 10/13, 45 Day Friday-- regular schedule for the week
• PSAT and SAT is on campus, Wednesday October 12th. This is an eLearning day for Juniors not taking the PSAT again and Seniors not taking the SAT. RED blasses will have assignments posted in Goggle Classrooms.
• PBIS Event 10/13
• Report Cards Final in PowerSchool 10/14
• October 18th Ogeechee Tech Dual Enrollment Information Day at lunch
• UNITY day is October 19th : Kindness Wins! Wear Orange!
• October 27th East Georgia Dual Enrollment Information Day at lunch
• October 27th Homecoming Parade and Bonfire!

• Homecoming this year is Friday October 28th. We will also have a revitalized Homecoming Dance on Saturday October 29th from 7-10 pm at BCH. Grades 9-12 are eligible to attend. More details will be posted closer to October!

• Dress Up days in combination with Red Ribbon Week will be the week of Homecoming, October 24-28th

SCHOOL BUSINESS:

Thank you for coming dressed for success for the school day! We will continue to support scholars to maintain dress and attire that supports the learning environment.

Thank you following our cell phone expectations. Our brains are better when our technology is put away!

• All busses will drop off at the BUS RAMP in front of the HS gym
• Scholars will go to the resepctive gyms (Lower for 6-8-- Upper for 9-12) until the 8:30 bell
• Scholars may be dropped off at 8:00 AM when staff is on campus.
• Scholars will report to the gym and wait for the 8:30 bell
• Scholars can get breakfast and eat in the cafeteria and then return to the MS gym via the 600 hallway (lower school) or the HS gym via 800 hallway
• The Daily Grind, our in house school based coffee shop, is open for scholars from 8:00-10:30 AM for the Upper School
• Please check out our social media feeds and our website for the most up to date pictures of scholars and activities in our schoolhouse
• Parking passes for high school may be purchased at the front desk of the high school- $40 for the year- Pay on MPP
• Scholar Athletic Passes may be purchased in our Athletic Office for $30.00 for the year! This allows you to get into all HOME HIGH SCHOOL athletic events!
• Lunch Accounts can take money on My School Bucks
• Please fill out your lunch application for Free Lunch. QR code is included in this newsletter

Scholars can earn points each day by showing off and showcasing our PBIS expectations by being a REDskin who is : respectful, engaged, and dependable. Items they can buy in the PBIS store range from free admission to athletic events, tee shirts, lunches out, snacks, free tardy passes, and other items that the students have identified. We believe these expectations are a great blend of lifelong skills!
