Superintendent Update
It's hard to believe that we only have five Mondays left in the school year. As we approach the end of the year, our seniors will soon have their countdown on the wall to track the remaining days. However, it is important to remember that every day counts and to make the most of the time we have left. While warmer weather can be a distraction, let's encourage our students to stay focused and finish strong.
I am excited about the opportunities that await our seniors after graduation and I am proud of them as they prepare for their senior boards to showcase their amazing projects and real-world learning.
Thank you for your continued support.

Alumni Spotlight - Tom Hutton, Class of 2000
What are you doing now?
I currently live in Lakeville, MN, with my wife Gina and my three children, Harper (8), Camdyn (6), and Sullivan (4). I am a Senior Nursing Recruiter with Triage Staffing. After High School, I attended Gustavus Adolphus College and graduated in 2004 where I was a four year member of the Gustie Baseball Team. After Gustavus, I attended St. Catherine University where I earned a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
What is your proudest accomplishment post THS graduation?
Being married to my wife Gina and having three happy and healthy children. I am also proud of earning a Master's Degree and the relationships and connections built along the way.
How did Triton prepare you for life after high school?
I learned the essential skills needed for success. Hard work, social skills, and relationship building have been the key to my success and Triton High School played a huge role in developing these lifelong skills.
What advice do you have for current THS students?
Enjoy every minute of your high school experience. Focus on making the right decisions and building strong relationships.
What is your favorite THS memory?
Most of my memories revolve around playing sports and competing with my friends. We won the sub section baseball tournament when I was a sophomore and that was a fun team to play on. I also really enjoyed watching the Triton Football teams growing up.
Who was your most influential role model at THS?
I would have to say my baseball coaches at Triton. Both Ed Pitzenberger and Greg Rathbun were excellent about teaching life through baseball. I continue to apply their lessons in my personal and professional life.
March and April Profile of a Graduate Award Winners
Congratulations to the latest Profile of a Graduate Award Winners! These students continue to be leaders and role models. They have excelled in the profile areas of Communication and Work Ethic.
The Triton Profile of a Graduate is our locally developed approach to what it means to be a graduate of Triton High School. We have incorporated many principles and competencies designed to help all students develop the skills necessary for success in college, in a career, and most importantly in life.
The Profile of a Graduate is designed around a community-engaged process to create a beacon for future educational strategic planning. It presents a clear visualization of priority goals for teaching and learning that can be easily communicated to students, parents, and staff to align collective efforts. Our Profile articulates the Triton community’s aspirations for all students and will serve as a North Star for future system transformation.
