Congratulations to Brittany Neidhardt and Eugenia Gonzalez-Olivares on your Autism Awards. What amazing work!!

Brittany is the winner of Excellence in Leadership and Collaboration and Eugenia won the Outstanding Paraeducator award. We are lucky to have you both!

The first round of spending is due by June 14th. All team leaders will need to submit your team's order by that date. Desmond will be sending out the memo with specifics this week.

During the week of June 5th, Media specials will be held in the classrooms. Mr. Schmirler and Ms. Boisture will be doing a chromebook check with the students to identify any chromebooks that are damaged. They will collect any damaged chromebooks and keep in the carts those that are working well. Students will also clean the chromebooks at that time and remove any stickers/labels. If you prefer that the labels aren't removed, please plan on removing them yourself by June 20.

Please complete MAP and Dibels testing as soon as possible. However, if you need extra time for make-ups, both windows are extended to June 2nd.

May 31s is the last day students will be able to check out books from the media center!

Friday, June 9th will be our last day of focus groups.

ELA Summer Training

• Training will remain two in-person days
• Teacher Training Locations:
• June - July 27th dates will be held at Thomas S. Wootton HS -2100 Wootton Parkway, Rockville
• July 31 - August dates will be held at Wheaton HS - 12601 Dalewood Drive, Silver Spring
• Training will be presented in a workshop format. Teachers will attend one am and one pm workshop each day.
• Teachers will receive an email with a link to select workshops prior to your training day

Social Studies

Social Studies will hire 12 teacher PD facilitators to lead the summer training for grades 4 and 5. The posting should be in Careers by Wednesday, May 31.
