Honoring Our Veterans
We are so excited to be honoring our Veterans and current active duty military family members again this year!
We would love to invite our Veterans and current active duty military to a special program and reception at the school on November 11th. The program will begin at 2:30pm with a reception for our veterans and active-duty military and their Galileo students following afterwards. Please RSVP here.
We are thankful for their/your service and look forward to honoring your loved ones.
NATIONAL PTA REFLECTIONS
This year’s theme “SHOW YOUR VOICE!” calls for your own unique interpretation through the arts. Click the link below for more details about the program, submission guidelines, and download the entry forms today. If you are unable to print the entry forms at home, have your child pick one up in the office.
Each division (kindergarten-2nd grade, 3rd grade- 5th grade, 6th grade-8th grade) will have one winner. The student with the highest score will be awarded a $50 Amazon gift card. All PTA Reflections program entries will be judged on three criteria:
1. Interpretation of Theme (40 pts.) - How closely the piece relates to the theme, based on the artwork itself and the artist statement
2. Creativity (30 pts.) - How creative and original the piece is in its conception of the theme and its presentation
3. Technical Skills (30 pts.) - The level of skill demonstrated in the basic principles/techniques of the arts area
If two entries are tied, the entry with the higher score for interpretation of theme receives more recognition.
Turn entry forms and art pieces into the office by FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11th, 2022.

Volunteering with the PTA
The PTA welcomes anyone interested in volunteering at the school. If you would like to be more involved, please click HERE and sign up to volunteer.
Staff Appreciation
Every month the PTA organizes an event to show the teachers and staff our support and how much we appreciate them. We rely on the parent involvement for these events. If you are a busy parent who has been looking for a quick and easy way to help out at school, this is it!
For October, we will be doing two days of events to support the staff during Parent/Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, October 19th and Thursday, October 20th.
Please click the Signup Link and help out however you can!
