Sunday Send Off

It is an absolute pleasure to have Zayne in our class! He always greets us with a big smile each and every morning. His favorite times in class are morning song, playtime with peers and craft time. Zayne has surpassed our expectations and continues to amaze us. Way to go Zayne!!- Mrs. Taylor

Every Wednesday will be a different wacky day. If your child would like to participate, they will need to pay $1 to their teacher. The funds raised will go directly to your child’s class for field trips or positive incentives.

Feb 8: Backwards Day - Wear your shirts or outfits backwards to have a little fun.

Feb 15: Color by Grade Day - Dress by your grade - K: pink; 1st: yellow; 2nd: red; 3rd: blue; 4th: green; 5th: orange; 6th: black

Feb 22: Rock Star Day - Who is your favorite musician? Dress like a rock star or a band you like.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays until May. Stop in to get homework done and help passing classes. If no students show up, teacher will be leaving at 3:30 p.m.

Quiz Bowl practice every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch in Room 150. Everyone is welcome! Talk to Mrs. Gagnon if you have any questions.

Drama Club will now be held on Thursdays from 3-4:30 p.m. in the old art room next to the band room. All 7-12 graders are invited to join. Come and check it out!

Luce County is excited to announce the production of county-wide Economic Growth and
Strategic Plan, alongside a Feasibility Study for the county-owned Industrial Parks. The project
will lead to the development of a series of strategies to support regional economic growth,
economic sustainability, new programs and partnership building, workforce development, skills
matching, and retention of young talent.
Beyond the engagement activities that are currently underway, the public is invited to participate
in a short online survey to gather a broader range of input to make this consultation as thorough
as possible in an effort to collect more detailed information and ensure a proper understanding
and evaluation of the opportunities ahead for Luce County. All survey responses will be kept
confidential, will only be used for statistical purposes and will only be reported in aggregated

With track season only a few months away, Coach Canfield & Coach Schultz would like to offer you some “Winter Cat” workouts! These will be held twice a week for 6 weeks starting Monday, January 9th. Workouts will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays starting around 5 p.m. Meet in the hallway between the gym and library around 4:45 p.m. We are trying to keep these workouts under a hour. So please let your rides know. The days are subject to change as we go on. We will keep you updated. This is open for Middle School runners as well!
